Hand of God not delivering for pizza guy

I’M not a religious man but being brought up a Catholic I still find myself instinctively leaping to God’s defence.

And I have to defend Him against “super” agent Mino Raiola who has said: “I think God sent Zlatan Ibrahimovic to me.” Now God may act in mysterious ways but there’s no way he’d let a former pizza chef make £41million out of getting a footballer to sign a contract, as Raiola (right) did last year when Paul Pogba rejoined Manchester United.

Rather than a favourite of God’s, I’m more inclined to see Raiola the same way Sir Alex Ferguson did when he was steering Pogba to Juventus, and said to him: “You’re a t***.” God would be fine with that.
