Bride saved by lung transplant is walked down the aisle by dad whose tragic girl donated her organs
A MUM saved by a last-minute lung transplant was given away at her wedding by the father of the tragic donor.
Tearful Lisa Simkin, 48, walked down the aisle with John Moffat, whose daughter Rhona had died from a brain haemorrhage at 33.
She said: “My dad passed away, so I couldn’t think of anyone I would want more beside me than John.”
Rhona, of Edinburgh, also gave four others the gift of life.
