Acid alert ‘to cover up hair op shampoo’
A TEXT from an alleged acid attacker warning of a bottle in his car was talking about a shampoo he was using on secret hair transplants, a court heard.
Arthur Collins, 25, told a jury he removed the label so his ex, Towie star Ferne McCann, did not find out.
The court previously heard he sent his sister the text: “Tell mum to mind that little hand wash in my car – acid.” But Collins said yesterday he was referring to his Kiehl’s Amino Acid Shampoo, adding: “Mum was taking my nieces out in my car. I didn’t want them picking it up.”
Collins, of Broxbourne, Herts, is accused of an attack at a club in East London in April. He denies charges including GBH.
The trial at Wood Green crown court continues.
