BBC1, 7.30pm It’s not Top of the Pops – mainly because almost everyone either presenting or appearing on it (or sat at home watching it) will be far too young to even know what TOTP was.

But this is a new early evening music show on BBC1, and it’s live. Radio 1 DJ Greg James is presenting, alongside Radio 1Xtra’s Dotty – who’s in charge of the social media streams (yeah, Bruno Brookes never did that). Each week the pair will be sharing the hosting duties with one of the music world’s biggest names. And the first guest host is Jason ‘Talk Dirty’ Derulo.

There will be acts performing in the studio, including Jessie Ware and Charlie Puth. And there’ll be chat with all of the guests, plus comedy sketches starring Greg, Dotty and some of the stars.
