South Park has never shied away from controversy and after the success of 2014’s blockbuster RPG The Stick of Truth, writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone have stepped up the obscenities a notch.

The Fractured But Whole loosely picks up where the last game left off, but replaces castle forts with crudely caped crusaders, poking fun at the seemingly endless wave of superhero movies.

Right from the start the game will have you howling with laughter as you create a character, forcing you to make choices such as the difficulty settings based on your skin colour.

Whether you’re a die-hard fan of South Park or you’re looking to lose yourself in a massive roleplaying game, The Fractured But Whole seems it will have a little something for everyone.

And it makes you ponder just how predictable the superhero movie franchises are.
