FAT’S HOW YOU DO IT

# Thanks to the Mirror’s music critic Gavin Martin for his tribute to piano legend Fats Domino, who passed away aged 89 (Mirror, Oct 26).

As a young man who came of age in the late 50s, Fats was an icon to me and thousands of others. He was a pioneer who inspired so many of our great rock ‘n’ roll bands, such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. I, for one, will never tire of listening to his songs.
