Union chief: ‘No-deal Brexit’ could mean Corbyn in No10

A “NO-deal Brexit” could trigger a general election in 2019 with a “real chance” of Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister, the leader of Britain’s biggest trade union said yesterday.

If Theresa May fails to strike a pact on the UK’s EU departure by this time next year, her government could collapse, Unite boss Len McCluskey claimed. “If there’s no deal I believe the Government will fall and we will have a general election and I think there would be a real chance of Labour winning that election and Corbyn coming to power,” he said.
