Mum’s £1.5m lift for amputee kids
SARAH’S life changed in 2007 when a bus hit her family, killing mum Elizabeth.
She was badly injured and her two-year-old daughter Pollyanna needed her right leg amputated below the knee.
Sarah has since fought for the needs of child amputees. Her campaign for extra NHS funding resulted in £1.5million more for new sports prosthetics for youngsters. Before they were only given basic ones to walk with.
