Mum’s £1.5m lift for am­putee kids

SARAH’S life changed in 2007 when a bus hit her fam­ily, killing mum El­iz­a­beth.

She was badly in­jured and her two-year-old daugh­ter Pollyanna needed her right leg am­pu­tated be­low the knee.

Sarah has since fought for the needs of child am­putees. Her cam­paign for ex­tra NHS fund­ing re­sulted in £1.5mil­lion more for new sports pros­thet­ics for young­sters. Be­fore they were only given ba­sic ones to walk with.
