Go online to get e-vorced

COUPLES will be able to end their marriages at the click of a mouse with the launch of online divorces.

A pilot scheme has been launched in Nottingham.

There are plans to roll out the “e-divorce” nationwide, cutting legal bills.

Susan Acland-Hood, of HM Courts and Tribunal Service, said: “Divorce applicants will be able to resolve uncontested cases fully online and resolve financial arrangements.”

Contested divorces will still be decided by judges.
