SADDEST MOMENT When Liam Charles left

-

THERE is no question that Liam was the fans’ favourite and the hopes of millions were resting on the 20-year-old to win the competition.

So when he left the contest before lessloved bakers like Stacey there were tears and anger from viewers, with some urging “justice for Liam” on Twitter.

Others felt Kate should have gone home that week after two consecutive weeks of questionable bakes.

But cheery Liam didn’t seem too upset to get his marching orders and, cheeky as ever, promised he would return to the programme in the future. He said: “Onwards and upwards. It’s not the end of me, it’s just the beginning.

“I’m coming for Paul Hollywood’s job in a couple of years.”
