Posh schools ‘fill top roles’

Daily Mirror - - NEWS -

BOYS from leading private schools are 94 times more likely to fill society’s top positions, a study shows.

The influence of nine fee- paying school s , including Eton, Harrow and Rugby, has lessened but there are still clear advantages for its pupils.

Researchers at the LSE checked 120,000 entries in Who’s Who.

Dr Sam Friedman said: “We are told everyone has the same opportunities. This puts in context how far away from equality of opportunity we really are.”
