Farke wants to wrap up points

Norwich v Wolves KO 7.45pm NORWICH boss Daniel Farke has scrapped any birthday plans to focus on beating Wolves.

Farke, 41 yesterday, is hoping to celebrate instead by toppling the Championship’s secondplaced side at Carrow Road tonight.

The Canaries coach (above) said: “When you are a professional in football there is no time to celebrate your birthday.

“So I have not had any time to think about sitting down and eating birthday cake with my family or anything like that.

“But hopefully the players will give me the three points instead as a birthday present – that would be perfect.”

However Farke faces a tough task as Wolves are out for blood after losing at QPR on Saturday.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: “We have to react immediately. Football always gives you a chance to bounce back.”
