GRAYSON: I’M CAT’S WHISKERS

- BY SIMON BIRD

Sunderland v Bolton KO 7.45pm UNDER-FIRE Sunderland boss Simon Grayson insists he can “make the club great again.”

Grayson (above) adopted Donald Trump’s election slogan to pledge that the Black Cat revival will start against Bolton tonight.

Sunderland last won in the league in mid-August, but Grayson said: “I had a comfortable job at Preston but I had the balls to come to this football club and show what I wanted to do.

“I trust my ability that I can make this good club great again. I’m not a quitter. Winning just one match will change the whole mentality at the club.

“Do I think I’m the right man for the job? Of course I do. I’ve been through good times and bad times as a manager and I can’t think of a better person at this time who’d be available that would do a better job than I’m doing.”
