Big Sam’s £2m row

SAM ALLARDYCE will place himself at the centre of a £2million fall-out with Crystal Palace if he takes the Everton job.

Mirror Sport understands Big Sam is in the frame to work at Goodison Park until the end of the season.

But that would put him on a collision course with his former club, who would be due £2m compensation after he quit in the summer.

Allardyce insisted he needed a break from managing and it is believed he vowed not to take another job for two years.

Big Sam is viewed by Everton as a safe pair of hands, but Burnley boss Sean Dyche, odds-on favourite with some bookies yesterday, is still a leading contender.
