RACE’S ON

Renault, or rather its sports car offshoot Alpine, is going to run a one-make race series for the new A110 sports car with rounds being held around Europe. Usually racing versions of cars look far more sexy than their road-legal cousins, but in the case of the Alpine racer that’s not true – because the standard Alpine A110 is stunning, number plates and all.

We’ll be testing the A110 next month and there’s not a test drive I’ve been looking forward to more than this one.
