Budget move on N Ireland

NORTHERN Ireland is set to have a budget imposed on it, a step towards direct rule, after power-sharing talks collapsed.

Sinn Fein and the Democratic Unionists have this month to do a deal or Northern Ireland Secretary James Brokenshire said he will take financial control.

The Irish government warned direct rule would break the terms of the Good Friday Agreement.
