WRIGHT BAN SO WRONG SAY CITY
BRISTOL CITY have slammed the FA for suspending Bailey Wright for diving hours before today’s clash with Cardiff.
He was given a two-match ban with no right of appeal after a panel found him guilty of conning referee Scott Duncan.
Fulham’s Aboubakar Kamara was sent off when Bailey crashed to the ground during City’s 2-0 win, but that was overturned and the Robins defender punished instead.
City chief executive Mark Ashton said it was a “clear injustice” and there was “genuine contact between two players”.
