Bananarama star Keren & Ridgeley split
BANANARAMA singer Keren Woodward has revealed that she and her long-time partner, Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley, have split for good.
The couple, who got together in 1990, first broke up in 2015.
They reunited, but Keren, 56, has now said: “We have gone our separate ways. These things happen unfortunately.”
She is preparing to go on tour with Sara Dallin and Siobhan Fahey in the original Bananarama line-up.
Keren, who moved to Cornwall with Ridgeley in the mid-1990s, said: “The reunion tour is like a celebration of our friendship.”
The split with Ridgeley, 54, was amicable. She said: “We still speak. He’s coming to a few dates on the Bananarama tour.”
