Under-fire Pulis faces a job fight

- BY JAMES NURSEY

EMBATTLED Tony Pulis is set to remain in charge of West Brom for Chelsea’s visit but is now under massive pressure.

The Baggies have taken just 12 points from their last 20 Premier League games stretching back to last season, when they finished 10th. They have not won since August and boss Pulis was barracked by fans in a 1-0 loss at Huddersfield.

The Terriers were reduced to 10 men with 57 minutes gone but goal-shy Albion were still unable to break them down.

Albion fans sang: “Tony Pulis, get out of our club” and “You’re getting sacked in the morning.”

Chairman John Williams is not considering a change before Chelsea’s visit on November 18.

But the Baggies travel to Wembley a week later to play Spurs.

Pulis was given a contract extension at the start of the season until 2019. But his job could come under threat soon if the winless run continues with Albion owner Guochuan Lai having the ultimate decision.
