SPURS’ TWO HARRYS CRY OFF

- BY JOHN CROSS

HARRY KANE and Harry Winks have pulled out of the England squad and thrown Gareth Southgate’s plans into chaos.

Kane took a kick on his leg on Sunday and underwent a scan with Tottenham anxious that no risks are taken. His Spurs team-mate Winks has also undergone a scan on an ankle injury and will miss the games with Germany and Brazil.

It is a massive blow for Southgate (left), especially to lose Kane for the prestige friendlies, which are seen as vital to prepare for the World Cup finals. Gary Cahill (Chelsea) and Jordan Henderson (Liverpool) have remained at their clubs and could also miss out.

Everton’s Michael Keane and Jake Livermore of West Brom have been drafted in. Tottenham’s Dele Alli has already withdrawn due to injury.
