Beauty queen’s anorexia death
A FORMER pageant queen died after a 20-year battle with anorexia, an inquest heard.
Julie Wilson, 46, developed the eating disorder after she was named Miss Ware at 20 and was obsessed with making her cheekbones stand out.
She fell to five stone and her body was found at home in Stevenage, Herts, in January.
Hatfield coroner’s court ruled she died from natural causes, including heart failure.
Mother Gina Wilson, 74, said: “It’s heartbreaking. Any other anorexia sufferers out there, please take warning.”
