Calls to sack ‘rogue’ minister Patel

THERESA May is under mounting pressure to sack International Development Minister Priti Patel over off-the-books meetings with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.

Ms Patel faced accusations she had gone “rogue” by taking 12 meetings during her “family holiday” to Israel in August. MEETINGS Priti Patel Mrs May only learned of the meeting with Netanyahu on Friday, and only found out that Ms Patel may have discussed giving money to the Israeli army from media reports yesterday. Lib Dem Baroness Sheehan said Ms Patel had gone “rogue” “forfeited the respect of colleagues” and “should go”.
