What an eye-opening programme the Pride of Britain Awards was. It was brilliant from start to finish.

I just hope it shames this pennypinching Government into proper funding for our emergency services, the NHS and police. After watching the programme they are so deserving of better treatment. David Marsden, Bridlington East Yorkshire
