Subaru has launched a farewell edition of its WRX STI model called, naturally, the Final Edition. Only 150 of these £33,995 specials will be sold and all have a unique front bumper design, bigger wheels and brakes, plus yellow Brembo brake calipers because, of course, yellow ones work faster than black ones.

Subaru’s amazing high performance motors ruled the roost in the 90s and early noughties, both on rally stages and on the road. They were amazing to drive but have had their day.
