Rafa ready for London
RAFAEL NADAL will be fit for the ATP Finals in London next week.
The World No.1 pulled out of the Paris Masters before his quarter-final match last week after experiencing discomfort in his right knee during an earlier win over Pablo Cuevas.
It raised fears the 16-time Grand Slam champion would join a long list of stars, including Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, who are already sidelined for the season finale.
But Nadal’s coach Carlos Moya said: “Rafa is fine – the knee is OK.
“He stopped just to take no risks. Rafa will be competitive in London because it’s the only big tournament he hasn’t won.”
Nadal is due to start his ATP Finals challenge at The O2 on Monday against Belgium’s David Goffin.
