MERC GOES TRUCKING

-

The first pick-up truck by Mercedes-Benz, the X-Class, has gone on sale with deliveries starting early next year from £27,310 plus VAT.

The X-Class is based on the Nissan Navarra but you’d never guess. It looks and feels like a Mercedes even if it does have an engine made by Renault – and the French firm’s own take on the platform, the Alaskan, goes on sale next year.

All X-Class models feature 4wd and high and low-range transfer gearboxes with a choice of 163bhp or 190bhp 2.3-litre diesels.
