the design genius behind numerous Formula One cars and the incredible McLaren F1 road car, has announced that his eponymous company will build its first in-house automobile. It will be a compact sports model encompassing many of the innovations introduced in the F1 but with a focus towards today’s driving environment. Use of aluminium, not steel, will achieve a huge weight reduction.
