JAMIE’S PAIN GAME
JAMIE MURRAY will play on painkillers as he bids to win the doubles title at the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time.
Murray (right), who partners Bruno Soares at the event, has had trouble with his right knee tendon since the French Open. He said: “For it still to be sore five months later doesn’t seem right to me. “It keeps coming back. They don’t seem to think it is long-term, but I don’t think anyone is sure what it is. “Anti-inflammatories and ice help for sure, but you don’t want to be taking antiinflammatories all the time.”
