DEFEAT IS BERRY HARD TO HANDLE
BERRY VAN PEER broke down in tears, during his match with Gary Anderson, at the Grand Slam of Darts.
The crying Dutchman, 21, has ‘dartitis’, a condition where players struggle with the release of the dart.
Midway through the clash against two-time world champ Anderson, it was clear Van Peer was struggling badly.
After losing 5-1, Van Peer got a sympathetic hug from referee Russ Bray (above).
Sky Sports commentator Rod Studd said: “He’s in tears, a real shame to see. Well done Berry van Peer, that must have been extremely difficult.”
