SUNDAY ROAST LIFTS CHEIKA BOYS

- BY ALEX BYWATER

AUSTRALIA celebrated their win over Wales with a Sunday roast.

And the Wallabies hope the lunch can help them get the better of England.

Michael Cheika’s men meet the Red Rose at Twickenham on Saturday after recording a 29-21 victory in Cardiff.

“A game with England is no different for us, we just have to make sure we do our preparation work well,” said scrum-half Will Genia (inset, right), man of the match against Wales. “But we’ve done a lot of travelling recently so it will be so nice not to have to get on a flight. We’ll have a Sunday roast on the way to London, so that’ll be great.”

Australia are in fine form and will be a threat to England, who laboured against Argentina.

The Wallabies thrashed England 33-15 at the 2015 World Cup to send what was then Stuart Lancaster’s side crashing out of their own tournament. Since then, Eddie Jones has helped the men in white to four straight victories over their bitter rivals. Genia said: “It was a great performance in the World Cup game, but all that stuff is done. We’re not worried about things that have happened before.”
