The former Blackburn midfielder (above), who made his France debut in Friday’s 2-0 win over Wales, joined Sevilla from Stoke in 2015 for £7million and in January extended his contract until 2020.

He said: “I love the Premier League. It’s where I started at a good level. I had a great time there. I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future.” NEWCASTLE midfielder Mohamed Diame is keen to team up again with Steve Bruce at Aston Villa. The Senegal midfielder, 30, (below) has played a bit-part role at Toon this term, and would consider a January reunion with Bruce, who he worked with at Hull.
