THANKS FOR BEAR GIFT
How apt that the story for the late Michael Bond’s last Paddington Bear book, Paddington at St Paul’s, was inspired by the service at the cathedral to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday (Mirror, November 9).
I loved the Paddington stories as a child and now my grandchildren love them too. They are timeless and have an innocence about them which is so often sadly missing in today’s world.
Thank you, Michael Bond, for giving us the wonderful gift of Paddington Bear.
