McINALLY’S ENDURING A TRYING TIME
Scotland 44 Samoa 38 STUART McINALLY was not satisfied after Scotland’s win over Samoa, even though his two tries helped seal victory.
The hooker made the most of Ross Ford’s injury to turn out a man-of-the-match display, but saw the hosts concede five times in an 11-try thriller at Murrayfield.
Stuart Hogg (above) also
scored but the Pacific Island side clawed their way back from 32-10 down – and McInally admitted there was work to do before New Zealand next week.
“It was 32-10 when I went off, with a bit of breathing space,” he said. “But it was a concern how quickly they responded to our tries. We have a lot to work on.”
