Church plea over gender
CHILDREN should be allowed to try out “the many cloaks of identity”, the Church of England says.
In new advice issued to its schools, the Church said youngsters should “explore the possibilities of who they might be”.
The guidance says: “The aim is to prevent pupils being bullied because of their perceived or actual sexual orientation or gender identity.”
Kids should be able to play with a tiara or a tool belt “without expectation or comment”, it adds.
