Bring her back, Boris

-

SORRY seemed to be the hardest word for Boris Johnson, who has finally been forced to issue a grovelling apology. But the incompetent Foreign Secretary isn’t yet off the hook over the danger he caused to jailed Briton Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.

We demand this clown does his homework in future and doesn’t rest until she is back at home with her daughter and husband.

Public pressure and political backlash made Johnson finally eat his words. Even his fellow Tories were demanding his dismissal from a sensitive Cabinet post that requires tact and sound judgment. He should, of course, have apologised last week. Now that he has, Johnson must seriously consider granting ZaghariRatcliffe diplomatic protection and flying to Iran to secure her release from prison.

Then Theresa May can sack him.
