Dead man in field mystery
THE identity of a man found dead in a field will probably never be known, an inquest heard.
A walker discovered the shirtless corpse with items including a black suitcase and theology book.
Europe-wide inquiries drew a blank, the hearing in Margate was told.
The mystery man, found near Canterbury, Kent, on February 3, died of heart disease. Coroner Ian Gollop said: “He was living on the edge of existence.”
Verdict: Natural causes.
