ANDY BIDES HIS THIEM
ANDY MURRAY’S coach Jamie Delgado says the British No.1’s comeback is bang on track after he practised with Dominic Thiem at the O2 in London this week.
Murray, plagued by a hip injury, has not played a competitive match since losing to Sam Querrey in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon.
But Delgado said: “The plan is to start in Brisbane in the first week of the new year, and then there is a week’s gap before the Australian Open. We are very confident that he will be back to his best.”
