Top Mo-ment for Farah

-

SIR Mo Farah proudly poses in top hat and suit for wife Tania after receiving his knighthood from the Queen.

The four-time Olympic champion, 34, was honoured yesterday for his services to athletics.

Sir Mo said: “As an eight-year-old coming from Somalia and not speaking a word of English, to be recognised by your country is incredible.” But the star, who is moving to marathons, did not teach the Queen his Mo-bot pose. He said it was “far too rude” for Buckingham Palace. Delia Smith, 76, was made Order of the Companions of Honour, for cookery – which she said is now “poncy”, adding: “If I get one more plate with six dots of sauce on it I’ll go mad.”
