No-hope Nigel
NIGEL Farage’s humiliating climbdown over Hope not Hate serves as a harsh lesson for the motormouth Brextremist.
Smearing as violent an inspiring campaign group dedicated to respect and peaceful argument was appalling ignorance from a rightwinger who should think before he lashes out.
The Mirror has supported Hope not Hate from its inception over a decade ago and is proud to be associated with a force for good – challenging dangerous fanatics whether jihadis, anti-Semites or far-Right idiots.
Hope not Hate and people like Brendan Cox, widower of murdered Labour MP Jo Cox, are the very best of Britain: fundamentally decent, believers in everybody being treated fairly and dedicated to bringing people together.
Farage should learn from the magnanimity of those he disreputably abused.
