KEN SLAMS HOME SICK RANGERS

-

FUMING Kenny Miller slammed Rangers’ home defeat to Hamilton as “unacceptable”.

David Templeton and Darren Lyon were on target in a first league win for the Accies at Ibrox since 1926.

Rangers skipper Miller (above) said: “Losing 2-0 at home to Hamilton is absolutely unacceptable and we know that.

“This place should be a fortress for us. Out of 19 home games, you want to be winning 16. We’re nowhere near that.”

Leigh Griffiths aims to have clocked up a century of goals for Celtic by the turn of the year after a free-kick took his tally to 94 and secured a 1-0 win at Ross County.

The striker said: “If I can get to the 100 mark then I’ll be absolutely buzzing. I’m hoping to do that before the end of the year and we’ve a lot of games between now and then.”

Celtic moved six points clear at the top of the table after Aberdeen lost 2-0 at home to Motherwell, Louis Moult scoring twice.

And Hibs missed out on the chance to leapfrog the Dons into second place when they slumped to a 2-1 home defeat against St Johnstone.

Hearts’ homecoming party was spoiled when Partick Thistle sub Kris Doolan grabbed a late leveller in a 1-1 draw.

The Jambos were at a refurbished Tynecastle yesterday for the first time since July after their renovated main stand was eventually passed safe the morning of the game.

Esmael Goncalves opened the scoring on 54 minutes for Hearts, who had been using Murrayfield.

But, with five minutes remaining, Doolan pounced in the box to give Partick a deserved draw.
