KEVIN DE BRUYNE says Pep Guardiola has Manchester City believing they can beat anybody.
The brilliant Belgian (above) lashed home his fourth goal of the season to sink the Foxes. City are on a run of 16 consecutive wins – 10 of them in the Premier League.
“Guardiola has given us the confidence that we can beat everybody,” said De Bruyne.
“Last year there were games where we could have been better but we weren’t clinical enough.
“This year, even today, we could be more clinical. But we were there in the box, we are scoring more goals and I think that’s the main difference from last year.”
De Bruyne, 26, has now had a hand in 50 Premier League goals – 16 scored with 34 assists – in 76 appearances. No other midfielder has reach the landmark quicker.
He already looks a good shout to be crowned Player of the Year, but De Bruyne maintained: “It’s not about me. It’s about how the team plays, and the way that the team is playing makes it easier for me.
“I think also the way that the team is playing, it just makes it easier for everybody.”
