£100,000 reward for info in mystery of vanished Corrie
A BUSINESSMAN has doubled his reward for information over vanished airman Corrie McKeague to £100,000.
Colin Davey, who owns a casino website, upped the original £50,000 after a 27-week search at a landfill site failed to unearth any clues.
Corrie’s mum Nicola Urquhart, 48, said: “I would fail miserably if I tried to find the words that describe how I feel about Colin’s generosity. I would beg anyone who has information, no matter how small they think it may be, to come forward.” Colin, who met Nicola as she handed out leaflets, said: “I am confident the reward will lead to something.” Corrie, 23, disappeared after a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on September 24, 2016. Police believed the RAF gunner’s body went to the landfill site near Cambridge in a bin but the search ended this week.
