Strictly winner has no idea what life holds for him after lifting trophy
STRICTLY Come Dancing winner Joe McFadden says he is jobless after lifting the Glitterball trophy.
And the single actor said he has no idea what his chances are in the dating world after capturing the nation’s hearts on the show.
The 42-year-old became the oldest celeb to win the contest on Saturday night, watched by 13.1 million viewers. It came after it emerged he had left Holby City, as his character Raf Di Lucca was gunned down.
Asked if he is now unemployed, Joe said: “I am. I’ve just finished two jobs, one after the other.”
But he was “very optimistic” about the future though he isn’t sure if he won any new admirers on Strictly. He said: “I haven’t been out in the world. I need to find out.” Joe and pro partner Katya Jones saw off their rival finalists Alexandra Burke, Gemma Atkinson and Debbie McGee.
