Outpouring of love as body is found in hunt for lad, 15
TRIBUTES have been paid to a boy of 15 after the discovery of a body following a three-day search operation.
Police said Daniel Chambers’ family have been informed after the find on Saturday close to where he was last seen on Wednesday.
Daniel was at home in Tipton St John, near Ottery, Devon at 7.30am and did not get onto the bus to school. A major search was launched with police, firefighters and volunteers scouring nearby woodlands, paths and the River Otter. Friends and family paid tribute to Daniel yesterday with a minute’s silence at Honiton Rugby Football Club. Others took to social media including Todd Gilronan, who said: “He was respected so much and loved at school.” Glenda Levy was “deeply sorry” and Kyle Hartnell said he was “absolutely devastated”.
