BHOYS RUN OUT OF GAS

-

CELTIC’S record-breaking 69-game unbeaten domestic run ended in shocking fashion with a 4-0 loss at Hearts yesterday.

It is the first time Brendan Rodgers has lost a league game with the Hoops and their first domestic loss since May 11, 2016 against St Johnstone.

Hearts were two up at the break with goals from Harry Cochrane, just 16, and Kyle Lafferty (above) before a Manuel Milinkovic double after the break.

Bhoys boss Rodgers said: “I want to congratulate my players. They have been amazing for 18 months.”

Hearts boss Craig Levein said: “I am even prouder of my players as we managed to break that run.”
