Turns out all she really needed to do was become more Scottish – and have a sex change.

The real winner for me was Joe’s partner Katya Jones. After working wonders with Ed Balls her reward was a rough diamond she could polish.
Maybe next year they should give her an even bigger test – someone who is unpopular and talentless. Anyone got Nigel Farage’s number?
