Grumpy Jose insists he has given up celebrating even when United win after a wobble

JOSE MOURINHO has given up celebrating after another tough 24 hours in the title race. Manchester City taunted their rivals by posting a dressing-room video of themselves celebrating victory over Tottenham by chanting: “Park the bus Man United.” United were yesterday left hanging on for a win at West Brom but are still 11 points behind City — and it has left boss Mourinho (above) in

no mood to party the City way. The Special One, famous for his wild celebrations during his time at Chelsea and Porto, said that Romelu Lukaku did not celebrate his opening goal after seeing his gaffer looking miserable on the touchline.

Mourinho (right) said: “I didn’t celebrate either. I look at myself celebrating goals 15 years ago – with maturity you control your emotions better.

“You don’t go crazy when you win. You don’t get depressed when you lose. Some other managers are different and they don’t change.

“I change. If I score a goal in the last minute you will see me run, for sure. But a goal in minute 20-something... let’s play.

“I didn’t see the City video. I’m not interested.”

And about Lukaku’s muted reaction, Mourinho said: “He didn’t celebrate for two reasons. His love for West Brom. And he sees I don’t celebrate either. He probably thinks ‘If he doesn’t celebrate why should I?’ ”
