HARRY SET TO GO THE LONG WAY

LAST YEAR’S winner Unowhatimeanharry is one of nine confirmations for Saturday’s Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot.

His main rivals include Lil Rockerfeller and L’Ami Serge, first and second in last month’s Coral Hurdle at Ascot, and recent Haydock Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle winner Sam Spinner.

Harry Fry’s (above) charge won the Long Distance Hurdle, the Long Walk and the Cleeve Hurdle last term before finishing third in the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.

He made a successful reappearance at Aintree last month, but was beaten by Beer Goggles when defending his Long Distance crown.

TRAINER Hughie Morrison will appear before a BHA disciplinary panel today at their headquarters in London.

Morrison, who has protested his innocence, faces charges over a positive test for an anabolic steroid returned by Our Little Sister at Wolverhampton in January.
