Kids ageist at just three yrs
AGEISM can be seen in children as young as three, research has shown.
Prejudice against the old fell around age 10 – then reappeared in the teens.
The study also discovered youngsters who had good contact with their grandparents had the lowest levels of ageism.
Allison Flamion, from the University of Liege, Belgium, said: “The most important factor associated with ageist stereotypes was poor quality of contact.”
