Perv hunters defend stings

PAEDOPHILE hunters defended their methods after a TV producer caught in a sting admitted trying to groom a girl of 13.

Kieran Creaven, 55, flew from Dublin to Leeds to meet Predator Exposure’s fictional teen. At Leeds crown court, he admitted sex offences. Creaven will be sentenced next year.

Asked outside court if this was a job for private groups, a PE member said: “If this was a job for the police, this man would never have been caught.”
